Nora and Đuro, winners of the 5th Subotica Half Marathon

At the 5th Subotica Half Marathon, held yesterday, 28 August, for the jubilee 5th time, the winners of the half marathon, the race of 21 km and 97 metres, were Nora Trklja, born in Subotica and living in Belgrade, in the women’s category and Đuro Borbelj from Apatin in the men’s category.

Nora finished her race in a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes and 46 seconds.

 

Đuro Borbelj ran the half marathon course in 1 hour, 14 minutes and 32 seconds, in extremely hot and difficult weather for racing.

 

Prizes went to the competitors in the first 5 places in all overall categories, as well as in the age categories over the half marathon distance, in honour of the 5-year jubilee of the Subotica Half Marathon – Run through History!
