Public announcement – street closures

The sports association Horizont, as organiser of the 3rd Subotica Half Marathon, asks the citizens of Subotica for patience and understanding because of the closure of traffic in a large part of the city centre as well as at Prozivka and Radijalac. As part of the City Day celebration, on Sunday, 1 September, the 3rd Subotica Half Marathon is held, gathering around 1,500 competitors from Serbia and the region. The closures of the mentioned parts of the city will start at 9 and last until 13:00. We ask our fellow citizens to arm themselves with patience and understanding and to show the competitors coming from all sides that we are true hosts.

Alternative routes connecting Palić and Aleksandrovo will be Segedinski put up to the Hotel Patria, Senćanski put and Bajnatska Street.

The alternative route connecting Palić with the industrial zone will be Jovana Mikića Street, over the Majšanski bridge, Proleterskih brigada and Zorkina Street.

In line with the race course, the public enterprise Subotica Trans will introduce a special timetable for the stated period and inform the public about it.
