Award ceremony and announcement of the 2nd Subotica Half Marathon

The historic 1st Subotica Half Marathon, which literally led its participants through the history of the city in the north of Serbia, is still talked about as one of the most interesting competitions of its kind in 2017. This pioneering undertaking lived up to all the expectations of the organisers, but also of all the running enthusiasts who came to Subotica on that September day and got to know the city and its cultural and historical buildings in a different way. The sports association Horizont, that is, the handful of people who took part in that undertaking, already knew then that a sequel would follow….

Registration for the 2nd Subotica Half Marathon has begun. It will be held on 2 September 2018, again as part of the City Day celebration, but with a much richer accompanying programme and, as the organisers hope, a larger number of participants.

The sports association Horizont will officially announce the 2nd Subotica Half Marathon on Wednesday, 7 February 2018, at 12 o’clock in the Media Centre of the City Hall in Subotica. On that occasion, plaques will be presented to all the individuals, institutions and organisations that helped, through their work or donations, to make last year’s race happen and be more than successful. The organisers are counting on their support this year too!
