PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Sports Association Horizont Subotica, as the organizer of the 8th Subotica Half Marathon, informs citizens that on Sunday, August 31, 2025, within the celebration of Subotica City Day, this significant sports event will take place, gathering around 1,500 competitors from Serbia and the region.

Due to the race, traffic will be temporarily closed in the wider city center, as well as in the Prozivka and Radijalac areas, from 07:00 to 12:00.

We kindly ask citizens for patience and understanding, and to welcome the runners with smiles and words of encouragement, showing that Subotica is a true host.

Alternative routes:

• For connecting Palić and Aleksandrovo: Segedinski put – Hotel Patria – Senćanski put – Bajnatska Street.

• For connecting Palić and the Industrial Zone: Segedinski put – Hotel Patria – Senćanski put – Bajnatska – Beogradski put – Zagrebačka Street – Somborski put.

During the race, SP Trans-Jug will introduce a special public transport schedule and will inform the public in due time.

We invite all our fellow citizens to come out to the streets, cheer, and support the runners – your encouragement means a lot to them!
